SUMMARY:The empowerment of grief as a self expression of art
DESCRIPTION:ENGLISH DOWN BELOW \nTrauer ist ein natürlicher Prozess\, aber er kann verheerend sein. Es ist eine Herausforderung\, aber nicht unüberwindbar\, zu lernen\, mit dem Leben in einer unumkehrbar veränderten Welt fertig zu werden und sich darauf einzustellen\, und Heilung gibt es in vielen Formen. Mein kunsttherapeutischer Kurs konzentriert sich auf Ermächtigung und Abschluss durch die Schönheit des Selbstausdrucks. \nEs ist ein schöner und zutiefst persönlicher Prozess\, Raum für die Erforschung und Befreiung von Trauer durch das Medium der Kunst zu halten\, und es ist mir eine Ehre und ein Privileg\, kleinen\, intimen Klassen von nicht mehr als sechs Personen die Möglichkeit bieten zu können\, durch die Vermittlung eines Gefühls der Abschließung zu arbeiten.  \nIn dieser vierteiligen Kunsttherapieklasse werden wir gemeinsam bis zu drei wunderschöne Werke schaffen\, deren Thema ganz Ihnen überlassen bleibt. Gemeinsam werden wir uns auf den kreativen Prozess konzentrieren und nicht auf das Endprodukt und die ermächtigende Freisetzung\, etwas zu entwerfen\, das das Loslassen und das Finden eines Gefühls des Abschlusses beschreibt. Am Ende unserer gemeinsamen Zeit können Sie Ihre Arbeit mit nach Hause nehmen und sie für immer in Ehren halten.  \nSind Sie bereit\, gestärkt dieses Jahr zu gehen? Learning to cope and adjust to living in a world that is irreversibly changed is challenging but not insurmountable\, and healing comes in many forms. My art therapy course focuses on empowerment and closure through the beauty of self-expression. \nHolding space for you to explore and release grief through the medium of art is a beautiful and deeply personal process\, and it is my honor and privilege to be able to offer small\, intimate classes of no more than six people to work through bringing forward a sense of closure. \nIn this four-part art therapy class\, we will together create up to three beautiful pieces\, the subject of which will be entirely up to you. Together we will focus on the creative process rather than the end product and the empowering release of designing something descriptive of letting go and finding a sense of closure. SUMMARY:The empowerment of grief as a self expression of art
DESCRIPTION:Grief is a natural process\, but it can be devastating. Learning to cope and adjust to living in a world which is irreversibly changed is challenging but not insurmountable\, and healing comes in many forms. My art therapy course focuses on empowerment and closure through the beauty of self-expression. \nHolding space for you to explore and release grief through the medium of art is a beautiful and deeply personal process\, and it is my honour and privilege to be able to offer small\, intimate classes of no more than six people to work through bringing forward a sense of closure. \nIn this four-part art therapy class\, we will together create up to three beautiful pieces\, the subject of which will be entirely up to you. Together we will focus on the creative process rather than the end product and the empowering release of designing something descriptive of letting go and finding a sense of closure. At the end of our time together\, you can take your work home and cherish it forever. \nAre you ready to step forward into the new year feeling empowered? Allow me to help you starting on Nov 16th and then continuing for three further sessions on Nov 23rd \, Nov 30th and Dec 7th at Our Happy Place\, Gotthardstrasse 34\, 8800 Thalwil. Each class will be from 9:30-12:00 with public parking available near the Station or The Coop. DESCRIPTION:The Zurich based science and art exhibition “DEAR 2050: Humans Respond to Climate Change” takes place from October 24th to November 6th 2020. \nIt wants to engage its visitors with the science of climate change. Science – and verbal education – help us understand what is currently happening\, what will happen in the future and what we can do about it. \nArt – and nonverbal education – help us grasp these changes emotionally or simply cast a different light onto them. Science and art together can then function as a catalyst to fuel our creativity and find responses to climate change.
