Komposition in Blau mit Wolken

This artwork contains soft shades of blue combining bold expressions of blue. Blue always had been my favorite color. As a child, I loved Royal Blue the most. Varying from Navy to Prussian, from Cerulean to Phthalo Blue, from Indigo over Midnight to Ultramarin Blue. I loved them all. I never could choose the most beautiful blue there was. I deeply love the intensity of the color.

Also after I discovered that the production of the Blue Pigment in the Middle Ages was an uncommon act, as the color was not directly available in nature, unless with specific human intervention, I felt an ever deeper appreciation for this color of strength, power, serenity, stability, inspiration and wisdom.

This painting combines my love for abstract art, the color blue and the flow of clouds over a profound blue sky. This artwork represents momentum from stability.
