ART THERAPY: Course: Empowerment through grief as a self-expression of art

Grief is a natural process, though it can be truly devastating. Learning to cope and adjust to living in a world that is irreversibly changed is challenging but not insurmountable, and healing comes in many forms. My art therapy course focuses on empowerment and closure through the beauty of self-expression.

Holding space for you to explore and release grief through the medium of art is a beautiful and deeply personal process, and it is my honour and privilege to be able to offer small, intimate classes of no more than six people to work through bringing forward a sense of closure.

In this four-part art therapy class, we will together create up to three beautiful pieces, the subject of which will be entirely up to you. Together we will focus on the creative process rather than the end product and the empowering release of designing something descriptive of letting go and finding a sense of closure. At the end of our time together, you can take your work home and cherish it forever.

Are you ready to step forward into the new year feeling empowered? Allow me to help you starting on Nov 16th  and then continuing for three further sessions on Nov 23rd, Nov 30th and Dec 7th at Our Happy Place, Gotthardstrasse 34, 8800 Thalwil.

Each class will be from 9:30-12:00 with public parking available near the Station or The Coop. COVID restrictions are mandatory and social distancing will be in place for your safety.

The costs for this course are 320 CHF per person with all materials included. Just bring yourself and an apron along on the day.
