Acrilyc paint on a biological canvas cloth over European wood.

Even though this is one of my first abstract perspectives I ever painted, it still feels this raw as when I painted it. I was drawn to the colors and you can see that several other artworks are made with sort of the same color palette.

I like to play with perspective. Depending on where you are in front of the painting, the painting interacts differently with its spectator. Yes, that’s you!

I wanted the blue lines of the perspective drawing to be consistently sharp and thick overall. Therefore I used white acrylic paint to adjust the thickness of the lines to my wishes.

The first intention was to recover this with yellow acrylic paint afterward and as you can see, I didn’t. I liked the way it looked. Just like the Japanese repaired china where the cracks are covered with gold paint.

That’s what I prefer to do, while I paint I stay really close to the chain of unexpected development during the creation process. Just being one with the painting. Listening to her and expressing her story.

Mostly I am aware of one or several aspects of the painting before starting. The total artwork exists only after the process of creating by staying present the whole time during the process.

Creating this space and time with the artwork gives me the freedom to be, to create, to stay close to my heart, and to leave the patterns that normally tend to steer my behavior.

By recognizing the process I am definitely not creating what feels like expected externally, because then it would feel like I did not create the artwork myself.
